The new IVU varieties

Alejandro Navarro Diaz, general manager of IVU - International Varieties Unlimited LLCA presented the new cherry varieties marketed under the MEDA® brand at Macfrut 2023.
As berries, fruits, and other crops are still in their harvesting period, cherries continues their appearence on the american markets with good hopes in terms of quantity and quality.
According to the Washington State Fruit Commission, whose update shone light in the early part of the season, the californian crop was highlighted as one with high quantity numbers and an ongoing season that will probably continue until the end of august.
As specificed by Karley Lange, Northwest Cherries Marketing Specialist, the ongoing seasons has started as a strange one. The crop has come off in a shorter period of time, resulting in California putting a large amount of cherries into the american market.
Moreover, marketing efforts resulted in a success, helping the selling process along with good prices and quality of the fruit.
