INDUSER and ICOEL have formalized a strategic alliance aimed at strengthening the range of solutions for automation, weighing and packaging for the Italian fresh produce sector.

The partnership combines ICOEL’s more than 50 years of experience in distributing technologies for fruit and vegetable packing facilities with INDUSER’s expertise in combination weighing systems and multi-format packaging for fresh fruit.

The complementary expertise of the two companies will enable them to develop projects covering every stage, from product handling and preparation through to weighing and final packaging.

The agreement was recently formalized by Bruno Stravato, CEO of ICOEL, and Pedro Martínez Lázaro, Chief Business Officer of INDUSER, who will lead the development of new commercial and technological opportunities in the Italian market.

An alliance for the Italian market

One of the most immediate objectives is to promote projects dedicated to products such as cherries.

In the long term, the two companies will work to encourage the adoption of increasingly integrated lines capable of simplifying the daily operations of packing facilities and improving their performance.

The partnership also strengthens one of INDUSER’s strategic pillars: providing widespread and effective service in each of the markets in which it operates.

Thanks to ICOEL’s local expertise, Italian customers will benefit from faster, more specialized support tailored to the specific needs of their operations.

Innovation and local support

INDUSER and ICOEL share the same vision, founded on innovation, a customer-focused approach and active engagement with the market. These principles have guided the evolution of both companies and will continue to shape the development of their solutions.

The partnership will focus on developing automation, weighing and multi-format packaging solutions for the entire range of products currently handled by INDUSER, including tomatoes, cherries, blueberries, stone fruit and nuts, with particular attention to the agricultural products offering the greatest potential in the Italian market.

For customers, this partnership offers the advantage of having a single point of contact capable of providing technical expertise, industry experience and local support.

The team’s direct presence in Italy will also facilitate communication and accelerate project development.

Technologies for an integrated offering

As part of this strategy, ICOEL will promote the latest innovations developed by INDUSER, including weighing and packaging machines from the PGF series, solutions based on combination weighing systems and equipment designed to adapt flexibly to continuous changes in formats and production requirements.

This alliance represents another step towards consolidating an increasingly comprehensive range of solutions for the Italian fresh produce industry, combining technology, close customer relationships and a shared vision for the future of automation.
