Agrovision, a vertically integrated global platform of superfruits, enters the production of premium cherries with the launch of Agrovision Chile

This launch, driven by the acquisition of Chilean grower and exporter ZurGroup, expands Agrovision's superfruit product offering and its commitment to fulfilling the mission of delighting consumers and inspiring healthy snacking using technology.

Leveraging Chile's optimal growing conditions, Agrovision will introduce proprietary premium cherry varieties developed to deliver superior flavor, freshness, and crunchiness, across 500 hectares of new cherry orchards

“We are deepening Agrovision's roots in Chile and bringing superior-quality cherries to consumers around the world,” said Steve Magami, co-founder and CEO of Agrovision.

“Chile's position as one of the world's leading producers of high-quality cherries, combined with our commitment to delivering quality through proprietary and advanced technology, enables us to meet the demand for exceptional superfruits that our consumers love and trust.”

The acquisition of ZurGroup, a family-run company renowned for its commitment to quality in the agricultural sector, provides Agrovision with immediate access to state-of-the-art packing and processing facilities, as well as new land for cherry cultivation.

Additionally, it brings 250 hectares of blueberries planted with premium varieties, perfectly complementing Agrovision's Peruvian showcase

With established distribution channels at global retailers, Agrovision is ready to reach more consumers with its blueberries and high-quality cherries in Asia, Europe, and North America.

Agrovision Chile introduces a new phase of Agrovision's expansion strategy in the cherry sector, building on the company's established partnerships in the region, including with Greenvic, a leading producer and exporter of organic fruit

In 2024, Agrovision and Greenvic initiated a partnership to meet the high demand for cherries and other premium superfruits in the Chinese market.

Agrovision remains focused on inspiring healthy snacking worldwide. Its commitment to sustainable and regenerative farming practices will be central to Agrovision Chile's operations, ensuring that this expansion has a positive impact on both consumers and the environment.
