This report delves into the performance of the country's exports to global markets and identifies sectors where it has maintained its leadership.

From a national perspective in 2022, Chile boasts an open and export-oriented economy that enjoys global recognition. It has experienced sustained growth over recent decades, promoting investments and trade agreements among other factors. The country's standout sectors include mining, agriculture, fishing, forestry, manufacturing, and services.

In 2022, Chile exported non-copper and non-lithium goods worth $43.47 billion, representing a notable 14.9% increase compared to the previous year.

"This leadership has positioned Chile as a reliable supplier in international markets, contributing to the country's economic development and reinforcing its reputation as a leader in the agri-food sector," notes the ProChile study.

Highlighted Fruit Products According to data from the National Customs Service (excluding copper and lithium), Logistec Magazine, and the market intelligence of the Global Trade Atlas, Chile ranks prominently in the top positions of the agricultural macro-sector for several products: fresh cherries, fresh plums and sloes, dried plums, fresh grapes, shelled and unshelled walnuts (fresh or dried), bulbs, onions, tubers, roots, and tuberous bulbs, dormant shoots and rhizomes.
