The well-known specialist will lead a technical program of 10 online lessons that is completely free. An unmissable opportunity for growers and professionals who want to master the strategic management practices of the season, avoid soft fruit and maximize the profitability of their cherry orchards.
Success in a cherry orchard is not random: it requires experience and empirical knowledge. For this reason, the training program will be under the technical direction of the recognized agronomist Cristián Pino, consultant and specialist in cherries.
Pino is an agronomist who graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, holds a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, a diploma in crop and fruit-species fertigation from Universidad de Concepción and a diploma in agribusiness management from PUC.
His career includes 11 years of experience at Garcés Fruit, one of the leading companies in the agro-export sector. He currently works successfully as a consultant for projects related to the cherry tree from the Valparaíso Region to the Maule Region, from the 5th to the 7th region, consolidating deep knowledge of the different climatic and soil realities of the central zone.

Who is it for?
This high-level training is open to the entire value chain of the cherry industry and represents an essential tool for:
- Cherry growers, administrators and agricultural managers.
- Field managers or farm managers, production managers and technical consultants.
- Professionals and technicians in the fruit sector.
- Strategic staff of export companies.
- Suppliers of inputs and services who wish to optimize quality and productivity in cherry orchards.
The problem: high demands and field risks
Today, cherry production faces an extremely competitive global scenario that no longer leaves room for error. Growers constantly face critical challenges: from unpredictable climatic variables and insufficient chilling accumulation to serious problems in crop development, such as nutritional imbalances, deficiencies in irrigation management and the feared problem of soft fruit, a condition that compromises the export potential of cherry orchards and directly affects the profitability of the business.
The solution: 1st Mundoagro Course on High-Quality Cherry Production
As a concrete response to these problems, Mundoagro Capacita is launching its first course specialized in a completely free format.
Through this training program, Cristián Pino will provide the technical, commercial and agronomic tools needed to mitigate these risks. Participants will learn to design high-level phytosanitary programs and nutritional programs, manage stress through biostimulants and use advanced technologies to produce artificial cold or heat, thus managing to control vigor and strategically modify harvest dates to guarantee fruit with the highest quality standards and excellent firmness.
Course format and benefits
Considering the schedules and convenience of those who work in the agricultural sector, the course offers a flexible and digital structure:
- Format: live online through the Zoom platform.
- Flexibility: all lessons will be recorded and uploaded to mundoagrocapacita.cl, available for viewing up to 15 days after the end of the course.
- Material: exclusive access to complementary study material within the website.
- Certification: an official certificate of participation will be issued to all students who exceed 80% attendance at the live sessions.
Lesson program and schedule
The program includes 10 technical lessons, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Chilean time, corresponding to 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in Peru:
